Dolce Villa Toscana is the result of our long-standing love for Tuscany. After many years of family holidays in the region, we decided to turn our dream of owning a Tuscan home into reality.
Our connection with Tuscany began many years ago. Since 2000, we have regularly spent our holidays in Italy, often returning to the beautiful Tuscan countryside. We fell in love with its rolling hills, historic towns, local food and relaxed way of life.
In 2021, we started searching for a villa of our own: a place where we could spend time with family and friends and eventually welcome guests from around the world.
Surrounded by vineyards and overlooking the Tuscan hills, it was exactly the place we had been hoping to find.
In 2022, we found the villa near San Gimignano. Its peaceful setting, panoramic views and generous grounds immediately felt special. Although the house needed extensive renovation, we could see its potential from the very beginning.
Planning the renovation took time. Before work could begin, several permits and technical matters had to be arranged. Together with local architects and craftsmen, we created a plan that would preserve the character of the house while adding modern comfort.
Between March 2024 and January 2025, the villa was completely transformed. We created a spacious kitchen and living area, added new bedrooms and bathrooms, installed air conditioning and improved the insulation. Large garden doors now connect the interior with the surrounding landscape. A private saltwater pool was also added to make the outdoor experience complete.
When we are not staying at the villa ourselves, we are delighted to welcome guests who want to experience the beauty, tranquillity and warmth of Tuscany. We hope you will feel at home here and create wonderful memories of your own.
We are Ronald and Jeske from the Netherlands, and we share the villa with our two daughters. Dolce Villa Toscana is our family home in Italy and a place where we enjoy spending time with family and friends.
